Among Horses and Men

AMONG HORSES AND MEN is about the still, untouched moment of self-reflection in the life of prisoners.

They’ve almost finished doing time and are about to take a new step in their lives. While in prison, each man gets the opportunity to gain the trust of a wild horse, a moment at which their own feelings and emotions are reflected in the behavior of the animal. Over a period of three months, they have to win the horse’s trust and instill in it a sense of emotional control. In the process, they do the same onto  themselves.
