Dutch youth film PENNY'S SHADOW receives worldwide interest. The distribution rights for the film have already been sold to France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Canada. The new Dutch sales outfit Mountain Road, which handles the international rights of the film, is also negotiating with other countries such as Russia, England, Turkey, Italy, Argentina and Scandinavia.
PENNY'S SHADOW has won the Audience Award for Best Dutch Film at Cinekid 2011, and was in the Top 10 of most visited Dutch films of 2011.
The English dubbed version of PENNY'S SHADOW will be screened at the European Film Market during the upcoming edition of the Berlin International Film Festival.
Mountain Road has been founded recently by Danielle Raaphorst, Sjef Scholte and Klaas de Jong. They will focuss on the international sales of Dutch and Flemish productions.
